This is a photograph of the old field fortification built in the thirty years war by Gustaaf Adolf. Though a small road now cuts straigth through it, is kind of special that it has been preserved in such a recognisable state. Inside is a small commemorative plaque. During the battle it was in the centre of Arco's front. Marlborough attacked north of it, the Margrave south of it.
